This book is one of the most important books I have read in a long time. Brene Brown’s research and findings make it clear that our society has lost sight of what it means to be vulnerable, authentic, and human. This book is an amazing tool for anyone who wants to live life fully or help others do the same.

The power of vulnerability is something that has been discussed by many psychology experts, but Brene Brown takes a more in-depth look at it. We all have been conditioned to believe that vulnerability is a weakness. In this book, Brene Brown argues that it’s actually one of our most courageous and necessary capacities. True belonging only happens when we present our authentic selves to the world – including all of our flaws. She discusses how the ability to be vulnerable can lead to many positive outcomes and offers steps on how to move forward.

Before reading the book, I had no clue that anyone would potentially even want to study a subject like vulnerability. So I was a little skeptical when I picked up the book, but Brene Brown changed my perspective.

I discovered so much about myself through this book. I have been an introvert for the most part of my life, and I realised that I have been chasing the illusion of perfection. Because I wasn’t being vulnerable with even my closest friends of family, I was never feeling truly connected to people, and I had a hard time building deep, meaningful friendships. However, this book helped me start being more comfortable with who I am and open up to those around me that might care about what’s going on in my life. Of course, it takes years of practice to completely transform, but I am happy that I have started.

This book inspired me so much that I gifted it to at least 3 people I closely connect with. Love it, Love it, Love it!
